On behalf of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha and Mandir Ltd. we write this letter of invitation with deep friendship.
On 10th February 2018, a unique and historic moment occurred. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and The Prime Minister of India, Hon. Shri Narendrabhai Modi formally discussed and approved the project of building a traditional Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. For the more than 3.3 million Indians in the UAE, and millions around the world, it was a day of great honour and pride.
As we celebrate the integrity and generosity of the leaders, it remains our collective responsibility to
honour this historic gift by creating a vibrant mandir complex which becomes a spiritual oasis for global harmony, peace and service.
The BAPS Hindu Mandir will soon begin construction. In fact, we will be performing its SHILANYAS –Foundation Ceremony on 20 April 2019. His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj will be making his first official visit to the UAE to preside over this historic event along with national and international guests. The UAE government is supporting this historic and iconic event and temple as integral parts of the Year of Tolerance currently being celebrated throughout the nation.
It would be an honour for us if you would join us as we celebrate this once in a lifetime event.
